Smithville woman went three years before diagnosis

SMITHVILLE — Shortly after giving birth to her third child, Roze Ravensbergen’s body collapsed.

Instead of walking through her front door with her brand new son Tyson, Ravensbergen arrived home in a wheelchair. She was unable to walk, experienced extreme fatigue and her muscles were “wobbly and shaky”. Her symptoms had her, and doctors, stumped.
