OPINION: We need to do more in Nova Scotia regarding Lyme and tick-borne diseases

… It is unfortunate that Nova Scotia’s top doctor feels that what is being done is enough. Yet there are still doctors in this province who don’t think Lyme is anything to worry about, are not aware of the large variety of potential co-infections, are not aware of the Statement for Managing Lyme Disease in Nova Scotia, or have only read pieces, are not aware that Lyme is in their area or don’t even believe in Lyme.
