CanLyme welcomes Dr. Vett Lloyd
Professor, researcher and Lyme disease advocate.
The Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation is excited to welcome Dr. Vett Lloyd to the CanLyme board. Dr. Lloyd is a professor of Biology at Mount Allison University, and researcher of ticks and the pathogens they transmit. She helped establish several interdisciplinary research networks and has a special interest in community engagement and citizen science, firmly supporting patient involvement as full partners in the research process.
Dr. Lloyd has co-authored over two dozen publications on tick biology and Lyme disease in Canada. She has advocated provincially and federally for improvements in Lyme disease policy, research, education and awareness. Welcome to the CanLyme team Dr. Lloyd!
