Medicine Or Mass Murder? Guideline Based on Discredited Research May Have Caused 800,000 Deaths In Europe Over The Last 5 Years
[CanLyme note: The Infectious Disease Society of America’s Lyme Disease guidelines have so many flaws, and are so devoid of independent ethical evaluation in relation to the global databank of research that they may become the most notorious guidelines of the past one-hundred years to have caused so much global disability … all while the medical money machine profited selling symptom masking drugs, ignoring curative treatment. Every College of Physicians and Surgeons in each province of Canada, under the direction of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, forces their doctors to impose the Infectious Disease Society of America guidelines on patients, or else the individual physician’s ability to practice medicine is investigated… a terrible abuse of the right to self-police… a right that can be revoked by appropriate legislation if necessary.
Our universities, via our medical schools, support the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) guidelines by teaching only the IDSA dogma and that of the United States Center for Disease Control to our young medical students, making it very clear to these impressionable young minds that to deviate from that dogma is unacceptable and career ending. Taxpayers fund our universities in the many millions of dollars each year, including our medical schools, and soon the taxpayers will demand that this blind marriage with the for profit sector at all cost be stopped, especially in health care. It is the decades of missed research and poor information given to doctors that is most harmful to the sick patients, all because of the current model of education and research.]

Article doesn’t stick to IDSA guidelines. I see the principle of holding guidelines open to inspection and revision as evidence accumulates.
We must stick to our message like the politicians do.
IDSA and US Insurance Industry and money to blame are to blame.
We must keep pointing out the complicity of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and how the public is demanding that our publicly funded Medical Schools should not have to follow these flawed guidelines.
