REVERSIBLE CAUSES OF DEMENTIA AND NORMAL PRESSURE HYDROCEPHALUS

Recent high-profile cases in the news remind us of the need to consider Lyme disease as a possible cause of reversible dementia. For the past several years, legendary singer/songwriter Kris Kristofferson was believed to be suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia. However, in the past week we have learned that the musician’s memory problems are instead due to undiagnosed and untreated Lyme disease.

  1. Dear Bernt,

    Your works are magnificent.

I only wish that your excellent comprehension

    could be translated …

By translated, I mean .. in the sense of

    A CALL TO ACTION

I have awaited for nearly 40 years …

    to witness in my lifetime….

That Physicians might BEGIN TO TREAT DEMENTIAS

( Diagnoses for which ……No cure is believed to EXIST..)

    With Antibiotics.

Well, there is a very very small FLICKER on the horizon

    And we now witness ..

Kris Kristopherson …. Cured of Clinical Alzheimer’s-Like Dementia

on the West Coast of the USA…

By his Physician .. who DARED THINK .. AND Who DARED to ACT..

and Who DARED to Prescribe Antibiotics…

and Who Succeeded To CURE a CASE of DEMENTIA in Kris Kristopherson

… “Kristopherson / Alzheimer’s– LIKE– Dementia ” ( But in truth Lyme Dementia)

This CURE IS BROUGHT TO US by a PHYSICIAN Who DARED to ACT…

    AGAINST THE Conventional Wisdom..

I just Wish that more Physicians .. DARED To ACT to TREAT DEMENTIAs

and To TREAT ALL DEMENTIAS with ANTIBIOTICS

WHO KNOWS ???? …How Many Lives would have been SAVED

    ..In the PAST 40 Years?

    Alan

If your physician is not “on board” with the notion
    that
All Dementia patients should have the opportunity
    to Achieve
    an Antibiotic Treatment REMISSION, IMPROVEMENT/CURE..

    Then Please, Dear reader,
    Find a Physician
    Berndt

    RESPECTFULLY,
    ALAN B. MACDONALD, MD, FCAP

  3. What is Alan MacDonald’s position on a Naturopath’s attempt to reverse Dementia on a patient? Can the contact between Allan and the Naturopath be connected so as to have Allan guide the treatments?

I agree with Alan’s comment that “Dementia patients should have the opportunity to Achieve an Antibiotic Treatment REMISSION, IMPROVEMENT/CURE..”
