Technology and Corporate Communications

Mary is a communications and marketing professional with more than 35 years of experience in senior communications roles with information technology and multi-national companies. After 20 years in marketing roles at technology startups and large software firms, she joined HK Strategies as a senior vice president and national practice director of the Technology Communications Practice. 

She was responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and quality control for all technology account delivery teams across Canada and worked directly with a number of corporate communications clients, including both Fortune 500 and technology start ups. 

Specializing in communications strategy, executive profiling, message development and media training, Mary brought her sensibilities and expertise from years on the client side to deliver the most effective strategies and programs for her clients. She is a certified MBTI trainer and has conducted dozens of media, presentation and executive spokesperson training workshops for leading companies including 3M, Amgen, Canadian Blood Services, Canada Life, Cineplex, Enbridge, HP, IKEA, Interac, OLG, Ontario Hydro, Plan Canada and RBC.
