Generation Lyme is a patient-led non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting individuals affected by Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses. Their mission is to create a welcoming, supportive, safe, and inspirational space for tick-borne disease patients and supporters.
Through their website and their podcast, they publish patient stories to connect the community and share with the rest of the world what it is like to live with Lyme disease.
Generation Lyme aims to combat the isolation that is often felt by those with Lyme disease by hosting online meetups. They have hosted over 1500 virtual meetups since 2020, and connected more than 15,000 people worldwide.
The free gatherings, hosted several times per week, offer a space for patients and supporters to seek advice, share stories, and find a community. They are for patients and supporters of all ages and backgrounds, from all over the world.
