Cynthia (Cindy) Caron Thorburn

Cindy previously worked in Canada’s financial services industry and is currently Vice-President and Director of a privately held family corporation.  

Among other appointments, she has served on the board at Canada’s National Ballet School and Trinity College at the University of Toronto.  She chaired the London Goodenough Association of Canada, an alumni association supporting Canadian scholars in London, England, and she enjoyed a four-year civic appointment to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority.   She is currently on the board of The King’s Trust Canada, where she also chairs the Audit and Risk Committee, and she is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for the College of Biological Science at the University of Guelph.

In 2015, she received her ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Despite nature having taken a bite out of her, she loves hiking and swimming.
