The first 25 minutes of this show the power of advocacy and how thoroughly the three speakers, Pat Smith, Dr. Elizabeth Maloney of ILADS, and attorney Wendy Murphy have mastery over the subject of Lyme disease and the unmet needs of their clients/ members in short 3.5 – 4 minute presentations. Video 1 features Dr. Sam Donta who turned his back on his own IDSA guidelines committee and his observation that the wrong question was asked when the first long term government trials of antibiotics were used for Lyme. He wanted to know what it was about the 2 antibiotics used that made this trial fail.
