Nova Scotia – Health minister willing to work towards solution
NEW WATERFORD — Nova Scotia Health minister Leo Glavine said after hearing families are being forced to leave the province to get treated for Lyme disease, he’s willing to step in immediately to do something about it.
“I can confirm the Department of Heath – and currently as Minister of Health – I’m committed to education of all Nova Scotians and practitioners, of diagnosing Lyme disease in our province and moving to make sure testing is available for Nova Scotians and that we don’t have to send families out of the province,” he said.
